Rooted in notions explored by the Brazilian concrete poets and using mechanisms extracted from classic video games, Space Reader is a performance interface that allows the navigation of a text outside the cultural conventions of reading.

Born in Santiago de Querétaro, México, in 1980, Benjamin Moreno Ortiz is the author of Tu haz de cuenta que me importa (short stories, 2005) and Signos de la Amnesia Voluntaria (novel, 2009). Additionally, he was a fellow of the FONCA Jóvenes Creadores grant 2010 and 2012. His work as a digital artist has been featured in performances, installations and exhibits in Mexico, USA, Spain, France, Germany, Russia and UK. He collaborates with poet Minerva Reinosa on BENERVA!, a textual visual and technological experimentation project.
